Overall this was just an OK experience. The rooms were of average size, the beds were comfortable and everything was clean and well kept. As others have noted, the dual elevator system from the street to the lobby and then another set of elevators to the guest rooms is a little wonky, but manageable.
The food in the resteraunt was...

Stayed here recently for a three day conference & was reasonably impressed. We had no say about the grade of room we were allocated but found the basic room comfortable & clean.
Positives:- Good location next to the skyway system which linked to malls & commercial buildings nearby. Lovely open lobby & bar area. Reasonably friendly & helpful staff. Quick...

I stayed here for three nights on a business trip that I make monthly. While I'm a loyal Marriott brand customer, this was my first stay at the City Center Marriott. After staying at others in Minneapolis, I must say I was disappointed.
The positives: updated decor, friendly front desk staff, and a great in-room setup for working. There are...

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and the rooms were very comfortable, although there was no refrigerator in the room, when I asked if they had one I could have they informed me that I could have a small one for $10 per night which when you are paying $250 plus a night I thought was a bit...

Traveled to Minneapolis for very quick trip (i.e. one night) for a friend's wedding.
A) Customer Service: I was impressed by the excellent customer service at every level of interaction with the hotel staff. Everyone was warm and friendly. It was pouring rain when I arrived and the valet/porter/door person immediately came to the taxi with an umbrella to get...

This is a well kept property conveniently located in downtown Minneapolis and a short walk to many restaurants and shopping. The room was very large and comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Beds were very comfortable. Everything is modern.

This Marriott was recently remodeled, and the rooms seemed to reflect this. The room was large enough, and the bed very comfortable. The basic "necessities" were not there: shampoo, soap, shower cap, and for me COFFEE.
Internet was advertised, but not working or easy to connect. After trying to figure out how to connect, I just didn't bother. That's a...

I was at the Marriott for a small conference and I won't be coming back if I can help it.
Let's start with the positives...
The hotel was in a decent location downtown, within walking distance to many of the businesses and attractions in the city. The light rail is a short walk away.
The hotel lobby on the 5th...

I recently stayed at the Marriott for business and an overall had a very positive experience.
Positives: The location was near Target Corporation where my meeting was and steps away from several restaurants, theaters and the Nicollet Mall. The downtown skyway made it easy to get around during inclement weather, but if you are there on the weekend it is...
