I would say that that the Kahler Inn and Suites has location going for it at the top of the list. Within walking distance ( across the street and up a block) to Mayo Clinic is a big plus for the hotel. It has the subway system so bad weather can be avoided no matter when you need the clinic.... This was our first stay at this hotel and it was great. We had a mini suite and it was very spacious--room enough for wheelchair and walker to get around as I had a hip replaced while I was there. I have had a few surgeries and several visits tomthe Mayo clinic and the Kahler inn & Suites is my favorite hotel outnof the different ones we have tried.
