The host, Billy Howell, was wonderful. The accommodation was first rate, from quality of bed, linen, bathroom and the breakfast. You can leave your car here and explore Clarksdale at your leisure. We only spent one night but I would recommend a two day stay to explore the region and just relax at this fine old southern home.

The Clark House is so rich in history and located conveniently to shopping and blues ....Billy Howell is wonderful and accomodating...we stayed in the Bottletree Cabin...the room was lovely, comfortable and located on beautiful grounds with a creek running behind the cabin....we'll be back for the Tennessee Williams festival, blues and good eats!

If you love Delta Blues, this is the place to come, this is a beautiful old southern house, and Billy could'nt have been a better host. It's a great old southern town and we cant wait to go back, to this fabulous house

The house is fantastic and Billy was great! The cottage we stayed in was also very nice with a great porch and just a nice place, all around. The location is also great, walking distance to downtown eateries and of course, the Blues. We will definitely be back. Thanks, Billy!

An incredible find! Luxurious and still cozy with very reasonable prices. Each room is beautifully decorated and private. The beds are not only gorgeous pieces of furniture they are extremely comfortable with high quality linens. The private baths in the rooms were an unexpected treat. Clark House is a converted mansion house that has been restored to its former glory with no expenses spared.
