I have had some pretty bad experiences with Motel 6 but it was getting late and I couldn't find a motel that took pets. What a surprise this Motel 6 was! They even have an indoor pool. We were on the first leg of our trip and decided to stop there for the night... Rooms were clean, and reasonably priced. The good thing was that there was a family restaurant that was across the parking lot so finding a cheap breakfast wasn't hard. This motel was also not too far from the historical downtown! We hardly ever stay at Motel 6. But it was right beside and overpriced Super 8 so we tried it. OMG it was so nice. It's pretty bad. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere else in the area. Carpet was wet in the corner. Mold. Bed Bugs. Shady people hanging around outside. No parking. Stayed 3 hours and got so sick from the smell we had to leave. Found the bugs as we were leaving. Had to call corporate office for refund. Seriously bad.
