We did stay in the manoir de la Roseraie on July 19 and JUly 20, 2011 in the Favorita Junior suite. The staff was most helpfull and very friendly. The garden is very nice with a swimming pool and lots of areas to rest and relax. The restaurant was closed on the first evening so we went to 'le Poème'... More

Waking up in the beautiful high-ceilinged room made me feel like a 16th century Marquise. Everything about this hotel was absolutely beautiful with a magnificent kitchen. Everything was freshly made with great attention to detail. Although we had a minor fall out with cleaning, we enjoyed 4 wonderful days and would love to come back. Besides Grignan was a hidden... Looks nice on internet, but what you get is something else. Took the second most expensive room - the Favorita "suite", but only if that means a standard sized room and an oversized bathroom. It looks like the last time it was re-done was in the 70s - and the mattresses must be from then too; the door to the... More

This hotel is overpriced and does not merit its star rating. It has changed ownership in the past few years yet prices remain high wiht no significant improvements to the hotel itself. It is located just outside the charming village of Grignan which is entirely missed due to the Roserie's location. For a far more charming and tasteful hotel, excellent... More

They have a nice website.... promising pool and tennis courts, beautiful rooms.... We have been there. The tennis cousrt is in bad condition - not usable. The pool is o.k. The rooms are less beautiful than in the prospectus or on the website. The overall impression I had, is that the hotel has a great potential, but there is someone... More

This is the fiirst time we have stayed at Grignan. Everything was excellent. A nice pool in a large green garden, with benches and chairs scattered around under beautiful trees. A spectacular indoor/outdoor dining room, very good food, excellent service, a quiet and well appointed room. And even internet access. More

An excellent choice in a charming village. We have stayed here with four bicycle tour groups. This hotel has changed ownership as of last spring and has been revived by a curteous and well trained staff. Beautiful grounds and attactive rooms some of which are undergoing further rennovation. We have stayed in many of Frances finest Chateau hotels during 27... More

Stayed here for one night in September whilst on the way from Lyon to Barcelona. Hadn't booked but saw the hotel in a travel guide and took our chances. Contrary to the other reviews on the website, we loved it. Had a large and very individual room in the converted outbuildings. Great bed and bathroom. The hotel had nice grounds... More

Definitely a hotel to skip. This place does not deserve a single one of their stars. The owners are con artists, not hoteliers. Come to Grignan, but don't fall in the trap of this hotel... More
