Cooke City is very small and most structures are old. I booked this hotel after reading other reviews here, and was disappointed. All soft furniture had large tears. The room smelled heavily of perfume chemicals. Eventually my husband found an air freshener "plug in" hidden behind furniture. He unplugged it, which helped some. We stayed in Cabin 2 while deer hunting. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and were always more than willing to make our visit comfortable. Pizza at the Miner's Salon was excellent (waitress was Miss Montana 2011 - Elk Horn Lodge Owner's daughter). we will be back. More
