The location of this lodge is wonderful with views (from your deck) of the river and the Absaroka Mountain Range. The rooms are very simple and plain BUT clean! There is a flat screen tv, two comfortabe double beds, a small bathroom(sink on the outside), and free WiFi. It takes about a total of seven minutes to get to the... More

While the decor on the inside is nothing special, the queen bedroom and bathroom was spacious enough for us. The rooms are clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. The lodge is well located on the main road in town near restaurants and close to the Yellowstone entrance. The nearby Cowboy bar and grill just over the bridge is a... More

We stayed here and had the best time. We sat on the balcony at night listening to the river and sipped on a nice local brewed beer purchased from the local store. We had the best family time ever. The feller that runs the place was awesome. Great customer service and he put us in rooms next to each other.... More

I just stayed here for a work trip to Yellowstone. The rates were below government rates, so that was a plus right away. There were five others in our party and they took standard rooms. Jokingly, I asked if they had other rooms available, and they did but at a higher rate, $15 more, still $15 below government rate. I... More

After staying 6 nights in small rooms in the Parks, our room at Absaroka was a welcome surprise. We reserved a suite with full kitchen and that's what we got. It was on the second floor of the building set farthest back on the property; private and quiet. We really recommend this lodge.

Very nice Hotel on the river and next to the Bridge. Easy to walk to restaurants. River is beautiful and it's an easy drive into the park. Beautiful view of Montana's and fair price. Great place to visit every season

A whole lot of good, A little bit of disappointment, A little suggestion. I came to Gardiner for a friend's wedding. She lives in the area/works at Yellowstone so she suggested Absaroka because of their winter rates. Their winter rates were SO reasonable! I was really excited that after coming so far we wouldn't spend an arm and a leg... More

Room OK but could truly use some updating. Nice thing about this place is the sitting area in front of the room, but as we only stayed one night could not make good use of it unfortunately. Hotel choices are very limited in this small town and could use some competition to force all these places and restaurants to do... More

Just wanted to point out that we've done lots of updating this year making a big investment back in the property. Since early Spring, new beds in every room, new high profile toilets, new carpet in lobby and hallways, new lamps, new in room coffee makers and new deck chairs. Coming soon, new flat screen tv's, new room chairs. With... More

They have replaced the beds since last time. Very Comfortable. Didn't want to crawl out when morning came. This is not s pluah place to stay, but is very clean and very convenient when visiting the park.

The best thing about this motel is the proximity to the north entrance of Yellowstone; less than a 5 minute drive. We stayed in the end efficiency room on the first floor. I had requested a quiet room because I'm a light sleeping, and this was definitely it. The lodge is on a hill, so you walk down 1 flight... More
