We loved the snow trails, Marion's dogs went with us on hikes which was a lot of fun! Great personal attention to all our requests. See you again soon! Wonderful to build fire in the morning and star gazing at night!

This will be long (as most of my reviews are), but I think it helps to be thorough. My husband, parents and I stayed at Abbott Valley from Sept. 15-25th. My husband and I stayed in the Brownstone, and my parents were at Jaybird's. We were pleased with all aspects of our stay. I recommend Abbot Valley for several reasons:... More

We visited the Abbott Valley Homestead as a family vacation in the summer of 2011. Our group rented three cabins: Millhouse, Brownstone, and Jaybird's. Millhouse had a kitchen and living room that was a good gathering space. Jaybird's easily slept several adults and had plenty of room for reading, naps, conversations, etc. Brownstone was compact inside with a spacious deck.... More

If you are looking for cable TV and video game Abbot Valley is not for you. However, if you looking for a very quiet home away from home, this place is a good option. I stayed in the cabin called Quintonken which is a very rustic, but very clean cabin. It comfortably sleeps 6 and the couch lies back so... More

We stayed in the Brownstone cabin a couple of weeks ago but had to leave early because of a family emergency. The cabin was nice but the facility listed as amenities internet and washer and dryer. It turned out that you had to go some distance in order to access the net and only one cabin had a washer and... More

We stayed 3 nights in the Quintoken cabin at Abbott Valley. The cabin was perfect with 3 bedrooms we each had our own bed at night after our long hikes, horse riding and rafting in GNP. The cabin is fully furnished with cooking and grilling, as well as a pot belly fireplace that we used every evening. It also has... More

We were originally booked in the Brownstone for our short trip to Montana. Unfortunately, there was some flooding in the area and a local was staying in our cabin. To our delight, we were upgraded to the Jay Bird cabin with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The cabin was exceptionally clean and delightfully decorated. The spacisous master bedroom with a... More

Our family just returned from a lovely few days at Abbott Valley. We stayed in The Millhouse. It was perfect for my family (myself, husband, 2.5 year old and 7 month old), my parents and also two cousins who stayed in an RV out front. It's a very peaceful property and my daughter loved exploring the creek and feeding the... More

We stayed three nights in the Brownstone Cabin, and can't think of a better place to experience "True Montana". What a gem; a home away from home. From the time we arrived, we felt so welcomed. We were greeted by the resident cat, Boxer, and later by Wiggsley, a lovable Corgi. Marion stopped by to make sure we had everything... More
