Website does Not explain handicapped unfriendly.
A lot of stairs to climb to get to suites upstairs, which caused me quite some pain. While laying down, some man just opened door to look around!
Bathroom in suites very user unfriendly , outdated, cheap. No hooks, shelves anything but a bar of soap and cheap towels. No where to hang clothes in bath...

I loved the hotel, especially the ladies parlor. It was everything I imagined and more. I have stayed in other historical hotels, but the Nevada Hotel is my favorite so far. I wasn't able to sleep all night because of the slamming of doors, the foot steps on the balcony and staircase, and whatever the loud noise is that happened...

This was the most fun place we stayed on our 10 day trip! How fun to stay in a circa 1900 cabin. Cabin was clean, floor not perfect but it's a cabin! Linens were great, bed good, lots of space. Very quiet, we were in a back cabin not sure how the front ones are. Very friendly staff, got to...

In high school, I worked the front desk at the Nevada City Hotel for a couple summers. 20 years later, I returned to Montana with my fiance' to find everything pretty much the same. I specifically requested room #7. (it's up front and has balcony). The rustic/victorian decor was fantastic. It's like stepping back in time. The front balcony rooms...

My family of 5 (2 adults, 3 daughters ages 7, 10, 13) stayed in a cabin for 2 nights. The cabins are refurbished miners' cabins and, from the outside, are very rustic looking. We were a little nervous to see the inside, but were pleasantly surprised. The cabin was huge, with 2 queen beds, a fold up cot, and a...

After our stay in Jackson, Wyoming, we wanted to get out on the motorcycle and see some of the Montana countryside. So, we loaded up and headed to Virginia City and it's sister, Nevada City (1 mile west).
The rain chased us to town. We rolled through Virginia City so we could check in in Nevada City. We were met...

We stayed in one of the front suites in the hotel and loved it. The furnishings and decor were authentic and warm. The people, including the gentleman at the front desk, were friendly and helpful. This is not a modern hotel and you have to expect some quirks. The only issue we had was that our room was at a balcony...

As friends traveling together we booked 3 cabins. They look cute & rustic from the outside, but not so cute on the inside. Beds were horribly uncomfortable and how about cold showers? Freezing cold! We tracked down the manager to ask him to check on the cold only water, but he basically told us"tough luck" and no they wouldn't be...

We offered a full refund which was declined. We were offered a room in the hotel for showers at no charge. Repairs were made in the morning. Customer service is very important to us, and problems are resolved as soon as possible.
