We spent four nights at this Days Inn while watching the sandhill crane migration. It was off-season so was quiet and the breakfast room had a place for us each morning. The room was clean and the service good. It is easy to get to and easy to find. The breakfast was better than average with fruit and hard-boiled eggs... More

This has by far been the worst hotel I have ever been in. While there for a volleyball tournament, my team had multiple disgusting encounters. After watching t.v. for a few minutes, we saw something furry dart across the room into our luggage. After checking our bags, we discovered a mouse! While calling down to the front office to get... This is not fair! I did not expect to just plain write! I have been going to Kearney for the spring bird migrations most years for over 25 years. And for a Nebraska Water Environment Association Fall Conference most years over the same period. THE DAYS INN HAS BEEN MY MOTEL OF CHOICE FOR SOME YEARS NOW! Some of the... More

Overnight #3 on my cross country trip landed me in the popular Kearney; wooden walkway across the interstate and endless miles of motels and all. Actually, who would have thought this bustling oasis of a exit would come out of nowhere. There were quite a few deals in the vicinity around the same price range; the green travel book echoed... Bedbugs, Food that is reused until gone (even with bites out of them), Spoiled batter, coffee with the pieces of coffee build up from the machine, spoiled eggs, etc............ This place is a health hazard. The management & owning company evidently don't care because they rent to a lot of construction workers. See they don't have to have real clean rooms... More

Decent price, decent bfast, fair rooms...but the bed bug bites I'm dealing with...and trying to make sure I don't get a major problem IN my own home are so not worth the "best deal in town". I complained about the blood spots on the sheets. Turns out that confirmed the 100 bites on my body as bed bugs. NEVER EVER... More

This hotel is very cheap, especially with the coupon from the booklets at every gas staion along the interstate. Wouldn't stay more than one night, as the beds weren't comfy and there was a peculiar odor to the room. Also had someone try to get in our room at 11:45pm, as she was given our room number. Thankfully her key... More

The Motel 6 sign said $49, the Days Inn coupon rate was $39. Nice place, not bare bones because of the price. No problems at check in, room was warm enough that I forgot to turn the heat on before I went to eat. Right next door to a Perkins, other food close by. Had all the basics, shampoo, conditioner,... The clerk was friendly and welcoming upon arrival and the owner greeted us and asked how our stay was in the morning. This hotel is close to the freeway yet quiet. The lobby was spacious and the hallways were newly carpeted and clean. Our room had a new king bed and new carpet. It was clean. The breakfast room was... More
