Within walking distance of MGM and strip, but not as wild and crazy as the big name resorts. Very friendly and helpful staff. They serve nice hot breakfast although it gets kinda crowded. Have nice complimentary happy hour with snacks. We had a nice 2 bedroom suite had 2 bathrooms kitchen table and living room. The furniture was nice and... More

Stayed here 3 years ago, so was wondering if it would still be as good. We had booked a one-bedroom suite for 7 days, but got upgraded to a two-bedroom suite because when we got there, because there was only one one bedroom suite left which was ground floor, and someone had been smoking in it. The suite was great,... More

An unpretentious 4 storey hotel, with no gambling machines. Complimentary breakfast and happy hour in the evening. Helpful staff, clean and pleasant rooms. An excellent escape from the over the top activities on the Strip, but only a block away from the Strip when you wanted to go shopping or just people watching. Highly recommended. More

This is a very nice place to stay. We had a one bedroom suite with fully-equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and plenty of dishes for cooking and even baking! All rooms have balconies. It was a little bit of a walk to the strip, not bad at all. The property was nice, quiet and clean and the staff was extremely... More

We chose this hotel based on TA reviews. It was the starting point for our trip "the grand circle." Being in a non-smoking, non-gaming hotel was important to us. Check-in was ok, not super friendly, but ok. The lobby was SWAMPED with guests on a guided tour, and it felt a little like a sports arena... Our suite was clean,... More

Very clean, and quiet place close to the strip. Close enough to walk, although we had a car, to Hooters next door with a casino, restaurant and 25 cent chicken wings at midnight was convient. The most noise on this property seemed to come from Hooters pool. This is a beautiful property, apparently part a time share and was nice... More

Once again the perfect stay at DRR. We stayed for 8 nights and have nothing to complain about (apart from the peanut butter missing from breakfast!!!). Had a room at the back facing the Hooters pool and enjoyed the music and noise coming from there. Room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Pool was lovely - even... More

We looked for rooms at the big hotels on The Strip and found rates of $600+. Instead we returned to the Desert Rose for $155 and had a large, very comfortable one bedroom, with a kitchen and a comfortable living room, plus a nice breakfast. Obviously, you won't find the amenities or glitz, but it is comfortable, friendly and affordable.... More

Came to Vegas for a girls getaway. The staff at the resort were so helpful and friendly. Loved the breakfast buffet every morning. Definitely took advantage of that perk! Would definitely stay at the resort again. More

Stayed for 8 nights. The rooms had all the requirements you would need. A little bit dated but still for the time you spend in them nice enough. The breakfast was quite sufficient. The pool area very nice but get there early not many beds. There is no bar or gambling area. The hotel is just behind Hooters.Walk through the... More
