Stayed in the Premium suite in the Impanema tower, which I'm told is the best tower. Like pretty much all the Harrah's properties, they need to update the rooms. And the ventilation system needs an upgrade on the casino floor. Not having a flat screen in a so called "premium suite" is unacceptable. And they need to scrub the Mold... More

Located off strip with average clean rooms for a reasonable price. I had a rental vehicle which made transportation easy (free parking) as opposed to having to take the shuttle bus or taxi to the strip. The Casino is nice with free evening entertainment a few times every night. The pool is above average and easy to get to. I... More

there are no true non-smoking rooms in this hotel, as the ventilation system circulates unfiltered air from the casino. Thus the whole place smells of stale tobacco and is worn and dirty. More

Rio needs to renovate their suites. They look 20 years old. As for the casino is average, aging. Penn & Teller show is right there and funny. Need a car or taxi to do everything. More

These rooms are large, clean and adequately furnished. The only drawbacks are the old TVs and the fact that there is no free internet access. Rooms are quiet and beds are very comfortable. This is my second stay at the Rio and I will return. More

First time staying at the Rio usually stay on the strip, but this time we get a connecting two room two beds for what we would have for half a room on the strip. The hotel is like 30 years old but you can not tell when you get into the room. I enjoyed all the space they give a... More

We stayed at the Rio in Dec of 2011 - so this review is a bit dated. Whenever you stay off the strip you worry about getting around - well, put that thought to bed right now. Shuttles run from the Rio to the strip every 15 minutes - you are covered. The Rio is dated - I remember staying... More

My boyfriend and I had to wait to book anything until work schedules came out, so I had to watch prices increase as we neared our departure date. We ended up still leaning towards the Rio and booked it with less than a week left before the trip. We showed up around 4-4:30pm and checked in. The line was a... More

Quick early morning check-in, 9:30 AM, Great room, very comfortable bed, great price, BUT, if you don't smoke the ground floor gags you as people gamble their savings away, poor ventilation. They advertise four pools & five hot tubs but one pool and two tubs only open on weekends to "Adults" Advertise a shuttle to the strip every 30 minutes... More

I stayed at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino because they offered me free rooms and free play on their slots. I had a rental car and this was the perfect off strip Hotel/Casino because of it was easy to get to via Tropicana or Flamingo. The check-in and check-out process was fast and easy. The staff were all very... More
