Stayed one night during a road trip in March. The Jim Butler is a small, 2 level motel in the heart of Tonopah. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The room was large, very clean and the bed very comfortable. Quiet. Reasonably priced. Wi-fi included. Old TV, but who really cares. Not a fancy place, but recommend it if you... More

do not walk barefoot on the carpet it is disgusting . the shower has no water pressure and is luke warm. Not much to do out there, only good benefit was that in the room is a refrigerater and microwave. Not worth the cost of the room More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jim Butler on our way to Las Vegas to meet with family. The hotel is very reasonably priced, and the staff were very friendly, and accommodating. Our room, #29 was very clean with a comfortable bed and quaint decor. The only minor negative was the chairs were not very comfortable as the cushions sagged.... More

A wonderful place run by really GREAT people. I am afraid to give this place a good review as I will find it hard to get a room there in the future. I stayed there because the other motels were full and was very plesently suprised at the hospitality and the great deal. Would I go back there? WITH OUT... More

This was a last minute stay on New Year's Eve, near the end of a holiday road trip. Really quite surprised at the price, that it wasn't inflated due to the holiday. Room was excellent - with modern, solid wood furniture, not the usual wobbly chain hotel stuff (ok, the fake fireplace was an interesting touch, but fun, nevertheless), and... More

This was our second stay at the Jim Butler Motel. The service is friendly and the rooms are clean, warm, and comfortable. The motel is in the center of town, which makes it easy to get to the few places you might want to go to in Tonopah, like Whitney's Bookshelf. More

This was our second year to stay at Jim Butlers, for the price, you cannot beat this place. The place is old but the rooms are done up better than what you might think just pulling up to the place. The beds are firm but comfortable. There is a small flat screen TV and pretty decent WiFi. All and all... More

We have stayed at Jim Butler one night on our Nevada road trip. After a friendly greeting we have been asigned room 28. The room was clean, spacious but very dated. The main problem was the cigarette smell. I believe the non-smoking rooms are more pleasant. The owners made a great effort to provide everyone with a fantastic array of information... More

Not a bad place to spend the night. It's an older motel, but the rooms are clean and roomy, the aircon works, and the in-room coffee is better than most. Continental breakfast is minimal, but you can get a nice breakfast elsewhere for the amount you will save. More

Companion and I were a bit leery of staying here when we booked the reservation but with limited options we went ahead anyway. It was a pleasant surprise. Andrea at the front desk was very pleasant and full of helpful information. We found the room very clean and it was equipped with a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave as well.... More
