Stayed at Margate for a conference. The staff were the most accommodating people I have ever met at a hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the lake is especially lovely in the evening. If you are planning an event in new Hampshire -- check out the Margate!

The Margate Resort is a nice hotel with wonderful staff in a gorgeous location. The resort faces west over a lake, and the sunsets there are just astonishingly beautiful. Our accommodations were in the Inn building; across the street from the main facilities. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable. The staff was quietly efficient. The internet access in the room was spotty at times. The continental breakfast was great (very good coffee), the meals available at the bar were great.
