I spent New Year's Eve at Birch Bend with a group of XC ski racers and coaches from Colorado. It was the most welcome I've ever felt at a hotel. From the New Year's bonfire and fireworks, to the warm blankets, fuzzy towels, and amazing muffins at breakfast. I wish we could stay here for more than one night! More
