This is a very reasonably priced property that includes a a nice breakfast. You get more of a feeling that you are in someones home as there are several large gathering areas with comfortable sofas. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Great for families. Internet if free and available in the rooms. The rooms are a bit outdated but are... More

Located in the heart of Waterville Valley, the Silver Fox is a fine choice for a short stay. Rooms are clean, and generally comfortable, though the beds and climate control system leave a bit to be desired. The beds were standard Best Western issue-not Westin's Heavenly Beds or Super 8's hay filled mattresses, but something in between. It wasn't the... More

Went for a Hockey Tournament. The rest of the team stayed in a run down glorified college dorm rooms near the skating rink. We were very glad we stayed here. It was quiet and nice as well as less expensive. Breakfast buffet was homemade and staff were very attentive to our needs. The happy hour was nice touch with wine... More

My family and I just returned from a wonderful stay at the Silver Fox Inn in Waterville Valley, NH. We were very pleased with our room and the Inn itself. The Inn was clean and comfortable with a very friendly and accommodating staff. I loved that there was a ski room right off of the entry way of the hotel.... More

We're glad you enjoyed your stay. As a long time skier myself, I know just what you mean about cold, icy boots and skis in the morning and that's why I put the ski room where it is. And those blueberry muffins are darn good aren't then? Come back and see us again please. More

Absolutely fab. Stayed in one of the lower level rooms, quiet, clean and perfect. The team there were great, helping plan one of our days out. Great location. Would definitely stay there again. Not skiers just enjoying the area. Stopped for 3 days en route to Acadia. Two couples 60-70 & 50-45 from U.k More

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your kind words. I hope you enjoyed Acadia. It's truly one of the most beautiful areas in the Northeast. It is the first place in the US where you can see the sun rise, from the top of Cadillac mountain. Please visit us again if you find yourself on this... More

Contrary to some other reviews, I thought this hotel was well maintained and updated well. The room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was home-made and hot each morning! The deck with a view of the valley was a beautiful and relaxing place to sip a cup of coffee. The innkeepers were very nice and helpful. My only complaint, and... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your comments. The view from the deck off the breakfast room is one of the most popular spots at the Inn. Winter, summer or fall, the views of the mountain make for quite a dramatic backdrop for your morning coffee or a glass of wine at our evening social. We hope you... More

We loved staying at the Waterville Valley Resort in New Hampshire, last fall just before Columbus Day. The rooms were very nice, the staff was excellent, and we enjoyed the wine and cheese in the late afternoon. The breakfast was fabulous-all home-cooked! Easy to recommend this inn! More

Thank you for your nice comments. We think we have the best breakfast in the valley. I hope you ate breakfast or enjoyed a glass of wine out on the deck so you could soak in the spectacular view. Please come back and see us again. More

The hotel and staff were just fine and we really lacked nothing during our stay. Breakfast was a little disorganized, but mostly as a result of a large group that arrived all at the same time at the buffet. As such, many of the buffet items quickly ran out and the kitchen staff was scrambling to keep up. Other than... More

Thanks for taking the time to comment. We're largely a year-round family destination and an "everybody" winter, ski destination. If you're looking for solitude, enjoy hiking, bike riding, tennis, golf, fishing or just lounging around light years from city hustle and bustle, we're a pretty good choice for most folks. If none of those outdoor pursuits are your cup of... More

The staff was very friendly. We arrived late and we were told we missed the free wine and cheese which they have every night for all their guest.
