Let me start by saying that the mountain at Waterville Valley is great for skiing but that's about the only thing at Waterville that is nice. The whole town square area is old and in need of serious attention. The restaurants need to be re-vamped, and the few little stores offer nothing. WHat is a real negative to this area... More

We made a last-minute reservation with Town Square Condos for a Saturday night over New Year's. Reservations via the internet required a two-night minimum, so we called directly. We spent a romantic weekend in Waterville Valley staying at the Town Square Condos and loved their wood-burning fireplace (with a big stack of wood outside the back door) and the general coziness of the place. It was a very comfortable stay, with hospitable management. I would definitely go back. More

Four nights 2/A, 6/C. Overall nothing to complain about. Average to slightly above average. All facilities we used were available when desired and the grounds were neat clean.
