Booked for my husbands birthday, couldn't have asked for anything more...went right before Memorial Day, so traffic wasn't bad. If you like "Philly's finest" and their kids running all over and screaming, paper thin walls, mediocre food and drinks at the "Rusty Nail" and a Jimmy Buffet wannabe lounge singer, you'll love the place. I miss Congress Hall and The Virginia Hotel...one and done stay. Never again.

Some of the negative reviews are a little harsh. The hotel is not a dump. We stayed here back when the hotel was named the Coachman's Motor Inn as well as the Beach Shack. To be honest, it's better as the beach shack! It's in a good location and the Rusty Nail is a great spot to grab a drink... More
