I have been a frequent guests of B and B's for many years. I recently spent an overnight at the Mason Cottage with friends, celebrating a birthday. Patti, the innkeeper, was awesome. I knew from the first conversation by phone that this was a special place. From arrival to departure, the three of us had only praise for the Inn... More

Just spent three nights at the Mason Cottage for a wedding weekend. The location on Columbia Ave. is prime. The porch looks straight down Gurney St. to the ocean. It's a nice expansive view with the Abbey and the Seven Sisters lining one side of Gurney St. The Mason Cottage is perfect for walking distance to Cape May's shops, restaurants,... More

This was the first trip for the Missus and me to Cape May and we found The Mason Cottage online. It seemed to have tons of good reviews so we booked the "nice room" with the separate living room and a hot tub. The B&B is literally walking distance to the beach (we visited in the Fall so the beach... More

We had a great stay at The Mason Cottage in August 2012. We arrived after check-in time, and the innkeeper called to let us know where she'd leave the code, key, etc. The breakfasts were absolutely fabulous. The location is great - very close to the beach, bars and restaurants. The B&B also lets you use bikes, beach chairs, and... More

The Mason Cottage is one of the nicer B&B's in Cape May; we have stayed in and we have stayed at at least 15 of them in Cape May; we have been accused of sleeping around vs. being a local customer. Patty adjusted the morning menu to accommodate my food allergies, thank you from the bottom of my heart for... More

My husband surprised me with a weekend get away for my birthday! He booked The Mason Cottage. It was one of the few B&B's that we have never been to. We come to Cape May every fall or Christmastime. The inn was very cozy & nice but definately lacking "warmth" the innkeeper was "too herself" and although we were not... More

Thank you for your recent review. We certainly appreciate the feedback and are always looking to improve our service. While we strive to achieve the ultimate B&B experience for all of our guests, we do have policies put in place for a reason. If at all possible, we are happy to accommodate folks outside of those policies, such as early... More

We stay at the Mason Cottage at least twice a year. And we go back for so many reasons. It is welcoming and comfortable and well furnished. We've stayed in the Grand Mason and Davis Suites and we decided on the way home that we like Davis best. But the real secret of this wonderful B&B is Patti, Innkeeper Extraordinaire!... More

We thoroughly enjoy the Mason Cottage in Cape May. The property is well maintained, room very clean, and the inkeeper very accessable and very accommodating. There was a book of restaurants and attractions in the area for you to review. The "trolley" stopped close to the property. Breakfast was delicious and it is not a continental. Even though you have... More

My husband and I have stayed at many B & B's. The Mason Cottage is a very nice, slightly above average B & B. The location is ideal, being close to the beach and shopping at the Washington Street Mall. Our room was clean and had attractive furniture. The jacuzzi tub was a nice treat. Breakfast was ample, and tasty.... More

This was our first stay in Cape May and our choice of the Mason Cottage was a wonderful experience. Location , atmosphere, accommodations and the innkeeper, Patty, all combined to make the experience a wonderful one. Having those scrumptous breakfasts on the veranda in the most amazing weather made it difficult to return to "the real world". Hope to make another... More
