Inn keeper was great and higher marks from 3 stars for that reason. Also appreciate the inn keeper's flexibility in offering one-night stays; that's very hard to find in Cape May. We only had one night to spare, so this was great. Coffee, tea, etc available all day in the sitting area. Free parking on the street and plentiful because... More

Well, we are back in Cape May and this is the third time that we are staying in the BEST inn in town. The Eldredge House is clearly going to be our choice of places to stay while in Cape May. We have never been down here for the Christmas season and we are glad we made the trip. The... More

We stayed in the Captain's Quarters at the Eldredge House for Victorian Week. The room had ample closet space and a huge bathroom with tub, plenty of room for our Victorian costumes and for us to gussy up for the Vintage Ball. This Colonial home in West Cape May had very comfortable bed and bedding, was totally quiet at night,... More

This place is great and away from all of the noise from the center of town. You are a short walk or bike ride from the beach, stores and restaurant's. Todd is great and very helpful with all of your needs. The breakfast voucher are great and lets you check out new places. Make sure to try Backstreet and George's.... More

This was our first visit to Cape May and we absolutely loved it! We picked the Eldredge House primarily for two reasons 1) affordability and 2) personal taste - we're not fans of the Victorian chintzy and flowery look in B&B's - we find it creepy to be honest - and in Cape May in particular, this look seems to... We enjoyed our four day visit to Cape May and were lucky to have this quiet, quaint, clean, comfortable home to relax and rest in. Todd is an informative guide to anything of interest and will recommend good restaurants and activities in the area. West Cape May has some interesting shops and eateries right nearby Eldredge House. I especially liked... More

The Eldredge House is a fabulous home to stay at while in Cape May. The accomodations are excellent and the owner Todd is very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. We have stayed here twice and we will definitely be back. It has become our home away from home while we are in town. The Inn is very clean and... More

Todd the inn keeper was wonderful in giving tips about the Cape May area and travel to and from. The Eldredge House was a nice and clean historic home which was very comfortable to stay in and close enough to the downtown and the beach to walk. My husband and I would definitely go back for another visit. More

After seeing the great weather forecast for Memorial Day weekend my husband and I decided that we wanted to go to Cape May on the spur of the moment. Unfortunately we would only be able to go away for one night of the long weekend. I know from experience that this is virtually impossible on a holiday weekend due to... More
