I stayed here this past weekend for a wedding. I thought it would be a nice gesture to send the bride and groom flowers and champagne. They checked in on Wednesday and I called Thursday to send the flowers and champagne. I had a missed called from Congress Hall on my phone Thursday afternoon but no message. Thankfully I decided... Thank you for your note about the problem with the amenity. I apologize that we charged you twice for the flowers. That was our mistake and I am sorry that we created more trouble for you. I have spoken to our accounting manager and he has refunded your credit card. If we can do anything further please let us know.... More

Had a great visit to Congress Hall over Mother's Day weekend, it helped that the weather was PERFECT! We loved our room, # 432, heard from the front desk it was the best room in the hotel, quiet with an unobstructed view. Huge bathroom and really comfortable bed. We don't like the crowds at the shore in the summer so... More

My husband and two year old son stayed at Congress Hall for Mother's Day 2012. This is our 2nd visit to Congress Hall, and it really is an exquisite property, great location, and great amenities. We were lucky that they opened the heated outdoor pool a little early and were able to take advantage of it. One of the other... More

Stayed in room 226 for two nights with a view of the great lawn and the ocean lapping at the sands. I spent many times, including 4am, out on the balcony listening to the waves and feeling the ocean breeze. I wanted to order room service and eat out there but my husband wouldn't have it. The coffee shop in... More

After finding out our weekend house that we rented in advance had a date mix up by the owner, we quickly went to historic Congress Hall to see if they had any rooms, since we had always admired the beautiful property and the friendly Brown Room Bar. Were pleasantly surprised to hear that they able to accommodate us for the... More

The Congress Hall is a beautiful historic seaside hotel in the quaint town of Cape May. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and accommodating. Although we never ate at the Blue Pig Tavern for lunch we did go twice for breakfast. Prices are on the high side so purchase a voucher for $10 when you book the room. You will receive... More

Got there at 3:30PM on a Friday to check-in. I was on a business trip and asked the woman checking us in if my co-worker and I could have rooms near each other. The check-in woman seemed a little annoyed and said that wouldn't be possible because they were fully booked that night. I have never been denied a request... More

My husband and I chose Congress Hall for a quick weekend getaway. It was our third time staying at the property; we continue to choose CH rather than try new hotels because of the great location, right near the Mall; gorgeous views of the beach from its oceanview rooms, which are a must; and the Brown Room, a swank bar... This was a very nice, historic hotel that is centrally located in Cape May. The front desk staff was professional and pleasant during the day. I did not find the night staff to be very welcoming or well-informed, though, particularly for this class of hotel. This did not leave a good first impression. The cleaning staff seemed very friendly. The... More

I did not know much about Congress Hall before staying there for a long weekend with my fiancee, but this hotel easily exceeded any expectations that I had. This hotel has a great victorian charm and entirely consistent with the Cape May theme. The rooms are fantastic as well, specifically the bed which was very large and comfortable, and are... More
