I just got back from a night stay and I have to say I'm glad it was only one night. The room is small and had a smell. The ceiling looks like it falling and the air conditioner blew out chunks of dirt. My husband hated it so much he was willing to lose our money and go somewhere else.

Staff is super nice and helpful! I must of called the front desk a half a dozen times and they were very patient with me.
The motel is in a great location. Its a short walk to the boardwalk. The rooms have just been redone. The pool is very nice and comfortable to hang out around. Plus free breakfast!

We have been coming to the Amethyst for the past eight years and have enjoyed our stay every summer. The rooms have all been renovated this year, all the rooms have a fridge and microwave in them. The hotel is a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. On Thursday nights, you can even see the fireworks from your room....

I've been coming to this hotel for 13 years now and each year they keep improving their service. The rooms have all be updated and redecorated. Their pool is big and is clean, each night I see the pool guy cleaning it!!!!
