This was just a quick stopover between Grounds for Sculpture and New York City. Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was large and well equipped -- king sized bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was much better than average for the price -- including real hot oatmeal and make your own waffles. Fruit, however, was subpar. The only part of the... More

The Hampton Inn took excellent care of our very large group. Even though there were many events in the area, we were given an excellent price and fantastic service. Everyone in the group was very pleased with the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms, the convenience of the location, and the overall quality of the facility. Whenever we asked anything... More

Price was a little over the top, but the hotel was well presented. As with all Hamptons, it's a little worn around the edges. Carpet was stained unnecessarily, the bed was a little too soft. However, there was a lovely pool, which was situated in a private courtyard in the back of the hotel. And the amenities were great, with... More

Hampton Inn in Princeton, NJ offers rooms at a price higher than typical Hampton Inns. For this, the guest can expect superior performance. Unfortunately this doesn't get delivered. Issues were both small and large. Small: No tea in the coffee service in the room; very limited cosmetics in the room; poor lighting. Large: The facility is on the west side... More

This is a good hotel for the price. Bed was very comfortable and room a good size. They couldn't cope with the numbers for breakfast which was very chaotic - but maybe it is quieter during the week. We had a couple of issues with cleanliness but they sent housekeeping up immediately. Also slightly irritating that we were told about... More

double queen room for my sister and I, next to elevator on 3rd floor, but was very quiet. Beds are on wall away from elevator, These must be handicapped rooms--large amount of empty space in middle of room. Shower very nice, faced back side of hotel so no US 1 noise. Easy access to Princeton, Trader Joe's 2.81 miles south... More

I have no idea if this hotel is the best in Princeton, but I cannot deny or refute the TripAdvisor rating tabulations. Hampton Inn was perfectly acceptable. The reception was fine, a "satisfaction guarantee" was stressed, the rooms were adequate and quiet (not huge), and the beds were fine (not luxurious). For a night, this hotel was just what the... We arrived late in the evening after a drive down from Boston. The hotel staff were very cheerful and helpful. The internet access code for in-room wi-fi was already written down on our key envelope, so we were ready to go. Our hotel room was clean, roomy and nicely furnished. The requested extra towels were already in place. The public... More

Stayed here on college tour with my husband and son. Requested a quiet room and got a great room (328). Two comfortable king sized beds. Lots of room to move around. The bathroom was small for a room this size, but it wasn't horribly small - just odd in scale. Slept peacefully all night - which was good considering how... More
