Addey and Alta are great hosts who have opened up a portion of their home for guests. Our small group stayed here for one night and we will definitely return since this must be the best value for money in Franshhoek. The house is just one block from the main strip and all of the main restaurants. It is even... More

Stayed here Dec 2012 when we visited with our family of 10 including a six month baby. It was such a find; like having a home in Franschoek. Excellent email communication with our hosts who when we arrived were present if needed but unobtrusive unlike other stops on the Garden Route. Our room which was the largest would do justice... Addey and Alta were incredibly welcoming when our group of four arrived 2 hours before check-in. It wasn't a problem at all and we were shown to two very comfortable and spacious rooms. After mentioning that we were there for a wine festival, the hosts even provided us with some "Prohep" to help with potential hangovers. It was a cold... More

The hosts were very caring and accommodating - they went the extra mile to assure we were having a great time in their city. We stayed in the Deluxe Room - its beautifully designed bathroom and comfortable king sized bed were great. The enclosed parking area was a plus. The location is perfect! Only down side is if the fellow... More

The rooms are well proportioned and furnished and are very clean. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and can assist with recommendations for everything in the village and beyond. The location is very central, just one street down from the main street and walking to the centre takes about 2 minutes. I would definitely recommend this to travellers who... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in December. It was our first stop after the long flight from Heathrow so we were delighted that it was everything we had expected and more. Alta and Addey were the perfect hosts; so welcoming, warm and helpful. Their home, just a stone's throw from the quaint main street of Franschoek... More

Alta and Addy are the BEST hosts! We loved our stay. They are such lovely people, very helpful and accommodating. They have equally friendly dogs, a big bonus in my eyes. The accommodations are in a perfect location. We walked to events, restaurants and shops. The mattress was so comfortable. The rooms are clean and simply appointed. The breakfast was... More

BB was close to town - we walked everywhere. Very homely staff and great room and bathroom - We stayed in the Luxury room which was comfortable, nice deco and a great shower! We could change from the King size to Twin beds by request which was a bonus. Great veranda to relax with wine - Felt welcome and safe... More

This is a beautiful little guest house with period charm. It is excellent value for money compared to other hotels and guest houses in Franschhoek - for the money we paid we really didn't expect such a lovely room. Our host Addey showed us his most recently renovated room too, which I would recommend for anyone who fancies a bit... More

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. A lovely couple rent out guest rooms and are so welcoming. It is right in the center of town, perfect location for a day of wine tasting. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
