“Very friendly host and beautiful accomodation”

We spend 2 nights at this lodge in Hout Bay. Just a 30 minute ride from CPT airport, we arrived late evening welcomed by our Vivienne (the host) who quickly showed us around our beautiful suite with large terrace with great view. “Poplar Tree Lodge”

We had an amazing week at Poplar Tree Lodge - the location is great if you want to be close to Cape Town, but not right in the city. It's easy to get to all the attractions by car. Viv is a great host and we can't wait to go back!

My family recently moved to Hout Bay, so I needed a new place to stay while visiting. I booked early with the Poplar Tree Lodge, and arrived the 17th of December. One of the best places we've ever visited. Vivienne's service and personality is great. Will recomment this to any person. The rooms are big,clean and well decorated. The unit was serviced everyday and left very tidy. The view is good. Vivienne were very helpful in exploring the Cape. Excellant place to stay.

What a nice surprise!!! Very neat, clean, tastefully decorated accommodation overlooking Hout Bay. The reception was warm and friendly and I felt like it was home away from home. I stayed for 6 nights, wish I could have stayed longer. Whenever I come to Cape Town again for business, I'll be staying at Poplar.

The accommodation was excellent! The setting was beautiful and overlooked Hout Bay, really enjoyed that the lodge was nestled against the mountain. The breakfast was fresh and I can highly recommend including this in your stay! Couldn't be better!
