We stayed at Robertson Small Hotel as a final night stop over on the way back from Knysna to Cape Town to break the drive and it was a lovely stopover - the perfect end to our South African holiday and we are delighted our Go2Africa consultant suggested it. If only we'd spent less time on Route 62 and arrived... More

what a beautiful boutique hotel. it has only 10 rooms which guarantees you personal service. The rooms are spacious and beautiful and I loved the special touches. It has a small but well equipped Spa and a lovely pool. We spent most of our time on the veranda and could have stayed there for a few more days. Rueben's the... More

Wonderful little hotel. Not much in the way of facilities, but what they do, they do very well. Some unique touches - such as rooms fronting directly onto pool, and cosy Reubens restaurant - ensure that the generic hotel syndrome is shrugged. Personal touches and small extras give a pampered feel. Rooms are luxurious, spacious and tastefully decorated. The hotel... More

Wherever you are based, get thee to the Robertson Small Hotel. What could be better than packing a few of your favourite things into a stylish weekend bag and heading out into the country for a weekend of relaxation and pampering? I had been so focused on the images I had seen of the beautiful interiors of the hotel that... More

My wife was working in Roberson and we decided to arrive the evening before and stayed in one of the local hotels. Based on TripAdvisor reviews, we decided to try the Roberson Small Hotel. This was by far one of the most memorable stays in a long time. The ambiance, food, rooms and service was out of this world. In... More

My husband took my away for the weekend with our 2 year old son to this hotel and we had the most wonderful time. All the staff were incredibly friendly and very patient with our (quite 'busy') 2 year old son. It's not really a place for children but we didn't have much choice and actually it worked out fine.... We stayed two nights in this delightful property where rural tranquility blends seamlessly with sophisticated luxury. The service was superb and we loved the restaurant. Robertson can be very hot in summer and the two pools provided the perfect respite.

We stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend and what a divine little spot. Rooms are divine, huge, spacious, comfortable, everything your heart desires. The service from the bar, restaurant, housekeeping, reception all fantastic. If you want a real spoil, book now.

We stayed here with a group of friends on our dream trip to South Africa, and we stayed in Robertson. I would stay here again, although the area aside from wineries doesn't have much to do. I can't fault the hotel in the least. But the restaurant was a bit lacklustre. It is supposed to be a top restaurant but... More

This hotel is a very elegant old manor house. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to a room at the front of the house which was tastefully furnished and quiet. Breakfast was served on the patio with good choices and good service. We had our evening meal there too which was excellent. Maybe we were lucky reading... More
