The real draw here is the location next to a beautiful river with a sand beach. Across the river, the green mountain rises up with Bhutanese dwelling dotting the landscape. Great feng shui. it is a short walk into town past a local temple that you can visit. The rooms are very basic, clean with no frills! Food ranges from... More

We spent 2 nights here and found it very comfortable and quiet. The room was very large with windows looking over the garden and the river. The bathroom was also large, with good water pressure. The food was good and the staff in the dining room were very attentive and helpful. The garden, though young, had some nice trees and... More

The location of this Resort is awesome. It is just next to the Mo Chu river. Ensure you book a room in advance as the river view rooms are very much in demand. It is a perfect location to sit back and relax. The rooms are clean and tidy. The river rafting expedition can be made to finish at the... More

I reflected my concerns before going as I had read the reviews on Tripadvisor to my agent who assured me the hotel was not dirty. She was right: it was filthy. Service matched the cleanliness level: we had 2 light bulbs which had blown in the room. We informed the staff. The light bulbs were not replaced in the 2... More

The room was more than acceptable at this hotel. The food was o.k. but nothing special. The real downside of this hotel is that the town of Khuruthang, where it is located, is just not very nice so, after a brief walk through town, we retreated to the hotel for the remainder of our one evening here. On the plus... More

I was in Bhutan in November, 2012 and thought this was one of the better hotels where I stayed. I was sharing a room and we each had a large, comfortable bed in a large room. The view was nice and the staff were nice as well.

This was the worst of our Bhutan accommodations. Oddly, it is owned by the royal family and falls below most Bhutan standards that we saw. The rooms are very basic and very worn. The beds are horribly hard. The food was average. The setting on the river was lovely but the town is very dirty with absolutely no attractions. A... More

If you look at the attached photo of this hotel, you would see the best feature instantly - i.e. outside with the flowers. I hear that the owner is busy building a new hotel to replace this one because of the perennial fear of flooding. He is letting the condition of this hotel slip with no intention to sell. One... Stayed here for two nights while touring Bhutan Our room was large but was in the central block over the reception area which amplified all the noise in the lobby. There is no bar area and they try and get you out of the restaurant by 9pm so the lobby is the only place for people to socialise - we... More

This was a great location and a huge room which was terrific when there are two of you and need to sort clothes out. Good shower too. Friendly staff are really helpful. Unfortunately, food not as good as other places we have tried in Bhutan. Evening meal lacklustre and breakfast so so.
