It can be a little tough to find this secluded B&B but well worth the time spent doing so. If you are a birder like me you will love this place. When we stayed here their were so many Hummingbirds at the three feeders it was mind boggling. Many different kinds of Hummingbirds too! They have a feeder in back... More

Great accomodation off the beaten track. Great breakfasts served cafeteria style in a screened in porch with a vista of the rolling hills. Birdlife abound and the quiet setting is very relaxing. More

My partner & I spent a weekend here recently and had a lovely relaxing stay. Chimayo NM is on the high road to Taos, which is one of my favorite drives ever, high up, winding between gorgeous ancient mountain villages. Chimayo is one of these ancient villages, dominated by the revered Sanctuario de Chimayo, which is a Catholic shrine. The... More

It was wonderful to have you back for another stay! Our "Griffin" the cat is now pushing 15 years of age. We hope he continues to be Mr. Meet & Greet for the guests, for a while longer. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay! We appreciate your continued patronage (and nice review) and we hope to see you again soon.Thank... More

We spent a long weekend at this beautiful B n B. The location is awesome. Central to the best of Taos and Sante Fe, very near the Sanctury of Chimayo and Santa Cruz Lake. The rooms were spectacular. We enjoyed the adobe private suite off the main house The Casita - I strongly recommend this room to anyone - its... More

We enjoyed having you as our guests (and so did the horses and Griffin, the cat). We hope to see you again soon. Thank you for taking the time... More

We stayed on the 2nd floor in the main house and could not hear noise from the adjoining room. The bathroom was decorated with Mexican tile and had a large tub with a beautiful view right from the tub. The bed was comfortable and the extra twin beds would have been good for a family but it left us with... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. That is always helpful. I’m glad that you found the room to be quiet and that you enjoyed the view from the tub. I’m wondering if you would have been more comfortable in our Casita, which is a suite. It offers a larger sitting area, since you felt as though... More

We stayed here as a result of a Groupon promotion. The rooms were comfortable, but you could hear noise from the adjoining and overhead rooms. Bed was comfortable, but bathroom needs serious upgrading. Breakfast was OK, although the window of opportunity was only one hour. Staff was helpful and friendly. Not much to do on the property. Hot tub thermometer... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and provide your feedback. The main house is an old, hand-crafted, adobe home. The two, second-floor guest rooms have wood floors. If you are in one of the ground-level rooms, there are times when you may be able to hear footsteps (if someone is wearing a hard-soled shoe) or creaking... More

We loved our experience at the Bed & Breakfast. This was our first time to stay with at a B&B! I loved that the cell phone did not work and there was not TV! We would love to come back in the summer to see the property in bloom. It really was like staying at a friends house, we sat... More

We had a wonderful time at Casa Escondida. It is well kept and comfortable. All the guests that were there with us obviously enjoyed it also. Its quiet, out of the way and a great taste of northern New Mexico. Staff and owner were very friendly. More
