Stayed at this hotel one night and I will not be back. The entire hotel smelled like smoke. Our room was supposedly a non-smoking room but the smoke smell was so strong that it triggered my wife's allergies. The breakfast area was seplorable. It has 2 small tables and absolutely no selection. Even the few items that were available were... More

We stayed there last night after a long drive from Abilene. The lady at the front desk seemed frustrated that we would request additional pillows, there are 2 per bed. We tried to over look the cheetos crumbs on the carpet, the skum in the bath tub and the general grime in the room, but it was hard to overlook... More

Nice place and probably one of the best deals in town. I had a problem connecting to the Internet but the girl at the desk was a computer wiz and figured out how to get me connected and it worked fine. Everything else worked as well. Bed was fine. Breakfast, typical continental. Very friendly and helpful staff. Most everyone in... More

Stayed here twice in the summer of '11 on long motorcycle rides. The room was clean enough, and nearly everything worked. The owner wants to cater to motorcyclists (I'm one), and he provides old towels and faceclothes for wiping off motorcycles after day's drive. Moreover, a vacant drive-in burger joint next door provides a place to park a motorcycle under... More

Stayed here in 2008 as well. The check in was an entertaining experience and our room was cozy. Enjoyed our stay. More

Chose this motel because it was on our route and half the price of others in town. Bad idea! Pulled back the sheets to be greeted by hairs from previous visitors in both beds. Moved us to a smoking room next door and finally to a clean room on the second floor. Strong cigarette smell in the lobby almost knocks... More

After driving all day and winding up in Clayton at about the time to hang it up, we stopped at the Best Western first, and they wanted a hundred bucks for a two bed room. That was too much for me for a quick stopover, so we continued on down the Hwy. until we found this Super 8. At first... More

I had the worst stay ever at this hotel it is way over priced and the managerment staff is rude. They wanted to refund my money and send me to another hotel after I had checked in because they did not need any bad press .. It was the most outragous treatment that I have ebver stay. It is definately... More

I stayed at the Super 8 in Clayton, New Mexico and it was absolutely terrible. The woman at the front desk had a horrible attitude problem and our room was disgusting. There were no clean towels, only dirty, used ones hanging on the door and the bath tub was COVERED in pubic hair. None of us took showers/baths during our... More

We just needed a place to stay overnight passing through the area. Room was clean, quiet, AC worked good, and there were beds in the room. What more can you ask for? They had a very sparse continental breakfast consisting of blueberry muffins, plain cake doughnuts, and bagels with coffee of juice. All I can say is that it filled... More
