The Chocolate Turtle, an exquisite little B&B tucked away in the exclusive neighborhood of Corrales, NM deftly blends hospitality, charm and value to form a perfect dessert in the desert. The four rooms at the Inn each feature a creative décor and private bath. Our room – The Sandia - had a small, private walled patio. The large shared living... More

The Chocolate Turtle B & B is a perfect Bed and breakfast. The rooms are colorful, clean, and comfortable, full of delightful SW artwork. The hosts are very pleasant and informative and a person feels right at home as soon as one arrives. Quiet, comfortable with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. The breakfasts were excellent. The Corrales area has many excellent and reasonable restaurants. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable.

I visited this charming B&B as a participant in a watercolor workshop, and the combination of the beautiful and comfortable accomodations with the peace and serenity of painting plein air around the area made my week long stay more of a retreat than a visit. The inn sitters at the Chocolate Turtle couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Chris... More

The Chocolate Turtle is the perfect 'home away from home'. The rooms are beautiful & comfortable, and the breakfasts were more than delicious. The setting is a peaceful haven overlooking the beautiful Sandia Mountains. Chris and Bruce (inn-sitters) were very helpful in all of their suggestions regarding places to visit and local restaurants to not miss. We highly recommend the... More

I have stayed at the Chocolate Turtle B&B five times now for a total of more than 20 sleeps! The place is truly a home away from home! The owner/hosts Nancy and Dallas have chosen their "assistant innkeepers" VERY WELL. When they are away, Chris and Bruce offer an amazing welcome, follow through with very helpful information about places to... More

This is an adorable B&B--beautifully decorated in a wonderful southwestern motif. It is immaculate. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. They had our every comfort in mind down to the chocolate turtle candies available in our room. Nice touch! The large patio was really lovely and it overlooks the Sandia Mountains. We watched bunnies, quail and all... More

I just returned from another visit to the Chocolate Turtle. My visit was just as amazing as my other visits. Chris and Bruce are the substitue innkeepers. You would never know they were substituting if weren't informed. They don't miss a beat in the hosptality realm. They are friendly, informative about the area, and make you feel welcomed. Even though recommended by friends, we had no idea how grand this B&B would be for us. We arrived and found Chris, the Inn Sitter, greeting us, giving us the tour, and settling us in in grand style. From our totally quiet room, to the gracious living room, to the back patio with a Sandia Mountain view (best at night... More
