We decided to stay at Black Mountain Lodge due to proximity to ski lifts and also the restaurant. Two other families joined us for our school vacation. The rooms were terrible to say the least. The housekeeper (elderly man) changed the sheets before arrival but only took the used towels and that was it during our stay. The carpets were... More

This place overall was great. We enjoyed our stay. Our bedroom connected walls with the skating rink so we hear music and kids slamming into the wall until about 9:30pm. We went into the playhouse but most of the video games were broken. The grill food was good too. It was a nice place to unwind with a drink and... More

My family stayed in room no. 4 and then room no. 5 in the same visit. The only good thing about this place is its location next to the ski slopes. Rooms were not very clean. The carpet was threadbare and gross, and the floors squeaked. Walls were very thin, While in no. 4 we could hear every word of... More

We stayed in the La Hacienda - We were a little iffy about our choice due to some reviews.. but after talking to the owners- decided to keep it! We could not be more thrilled with how it turned out. We had 3 couples, and had PLENTY of room, It was VERY clean and not to mention walking distance to... More

Everything about this place was great. The rooms were nice, the service was great. The cafe had really good food and wasn't expensive. And, since I went there to go skiing, the best part was, I would finish skiing and ski to the bottom of the hill and it's right there. I don't have to walk a long way. I... More

Location is great, but the unit was DISCUSTING (unit 2)! The shower curtain was more mold than plastic and had holes all over it, there were hairS (yes, multiple) in the bed sheets, the only seating for a "sleeps 6 unit" was a couch that had a broken leg, which also meant the pull out bed that was supposed to... I found this place to be the best yet, for the price in Red River. The rooms are a little outdated but I have not found a place in Red River where this is not true. Yeah it got a little rowdy most nights but the cops were never there and by 11 I would say it was fairly quiet.... More

The suite is not what was expected by looking at the website. Not renovated and ond bedding. Very rundown. Bare unfinished floors in the living room and bathroom. Carpet has been pulled up and tack strips have been left behind. The room has three doors that you can’t secure. Perfect place for a Frat party, not the family. Pros: Close... More

This is in an excellent location, and the price is FANTASTIC. However, the rooms are in need of updating, and the mattresses are tiny and terrible. Customer service seems superb, unless you are arriving after hours. And the bar closes at 9. What bar closes at 9? Check out is at 10AM which is a little early if you are... More

You cannot beat the location for skiing. It is right in front of the parking lot. It condo was nice and clean and has all amenities needed. The price was not bad either. However I cannot give high marks due to the very uncomfortable beds. They were very hard and in much need of an upgrade. After a long day... More
