We stayed two nights at KRL. It was an overall great experience. Everything is very organized and the rooms are very comfortable. There's a morning and afternoon/evening safari each day. our guide, Stefan, and tracker, Steven were terrific and committed to us seeing as much as possible. We saw elephants, wildebeest, water buffalo, lions, zebra, hippos, impala and other smaller... More

We traveled here for a luxurious and exciting safari experience and were not disappointed! The grounds were lovely, the rooms spacious and beautiful, and the staff warm and accommodating. Within our first two drives we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five thanks to the skill of our ranger/tracker team John and Stanley! They really know how... More

We were there for 4 nights and the experience was incredible. Our ranger was very helpful and knowledgeable. He patiently answered all our questions, and was very friendly. He made sure that we saw the Big Five before we left the place (though we missed the leopard). The rooms were huge and the view was incredible. We could see the... More

Since our arrival to our check out we had all attention and kindness, we could expect. The staff outstanding, food excellant. You could imagine have the dinner under the stars,... More

Definetly is the best Safari around South Africa. The River Lodge is an amazing hotel and all of staff are outstanding and helpful. Delicious food. The especial moment is during the dinner out. Magnific! You can see the big 5 during the Safari.

We only stayed for one night (it was a one year anniversary celebration) and I think that was the problem. You really need to stay for a few nights to enjoy the experience Kapama has to offer. The food, safaris, rooms and the pool were absolutely brilliant. An experience of a life time. Most of the staff were brilliant and... More

One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever been. Everything was at superlativ starting from rooms ending with the staff. The safari trips were incredible. And the prices for spa and other accesories were resonably balanced.
