Upon planning our trip to Taos this month it all depended on being able to stay at this lodging. Lovey, the owner, had one casita (cottage) left and I reserved it for five days. We have visited Taos many times (my mother's family is from here - lots of cousins, etc.) Taos Lodging provides individual accommodations to entertain guests and... More

I almost decided not to do a review as this is a terrific place as well-said by several others, but a couple of observations may help some. We booked two nights, and were lucky enough to score Casita 6 for a third night. We just loved the casita, but we found the king bed just a tad soft for our... More

We stayed 7 nights in Casita 6 and loved it. It was clean, spacious (except maybe for the bathroom), and decorated in Southwest style. The hot tub was a great plus, as was the guest laundry. We felt as though we had our own two-bedroom cottage. We cooked, invited friends, and walked easily to the Plaza. I could live there!

We were looking for a place to stay in Taos for a few days that had to be quiet, clean, convenient , and comfortable. Basically a home away from home. We were about to have our first child at the Northern New Mexico Birthing Center and living in Los Alamos, about 1.5 hours away, so we really needed to stay... More

This place is awesome and it starts with the people. Lovey does a great job of making it a great place to stay with her friendliness and honesty. We have stayed in Castia's 6,7 and at condo 523 Camino de Placitas. They have all been great. The room of a small house and the price of a hotel room. Great... More

It's difficult to know what to say about a place when the previous TA reviews have been complimentary, and you agree with them all. Taos Lodgings are ideally situated on a tree-shaded side road about a hundred yards from the main drag through Taos. They are handy for the Plaza, Taos Pueblo and Cid's wholefood market. The casitas are comfortable... More

My adult daughter and I take a weeklong trip to a new place every year. This year, we visited New Mexico - what a fabulous place! We booked a casita at Taos Lodging, based on reviews by others on TA. When we checked into Casita 7 (highly recommended), we were a little surprised. The casita was like a cabin in... More

Taos Lodging offers private casitas. Ours, Casita #2, had a bedroom, living room, spacious full kitchen and dining area, bathroom, and our own private laundry facility. All of this was ours for a price that would only get a room at many other Taos motels. The owner, Lovey, was so friendly and helpful, giving lots of advice on what was... More

We absolutely loved this place. We stayed at Casita 7 while we recently visited New Mexico. The casitas set back in off the main street in Taos and are located just a short distance from downtown. There are plenty of shops and restaurants that are in close proximity to the casitas. Not only the staff (that would be Lovey) but... More

We stayed here for 2 nights during a ski trip in March 2012 and were in Casita 7. What a terrific spot! Close to town attractions and close to ski resorts as well (we skiied at Sipapu and went snow shoeing in the area as well). Before we arrived, the owner was very helpful with tips on what to see...
