I stayed here for two nights to start a project in Taos. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The rate is excellent for the location. It is good they have resisted the temptation to charge the same as the competitors which results in helping the working folks. Also, like other comments, the staff was friendly and very helpful. I find... More

Stayed here in Sept '06 with my dad as part of our trip through New Mexico. We only stayed for one night as planned. The motel is easy to find as it is right off the main road through town. Check in was easy and simple. The desk clerk was receptive and informative. The lobby was nice and airy, but... More

The rooms were dark with stains on the wall and ceiling. Could not tell if the bed sheets were clean or not (Since the room was too dark). Staff was friendly. Location was great. However, the rooms were so bad that I would never, ever stay here again. And I would never suggest this place to a friend. More

We came to ski Taos, did not need great room, stayed 4 nights, had the king room facing the quasi-courtyard. PLUS...good location, within walking distance of plaza, great in-room heater, warm shower, relatively clean room(spotty maid service, 1 day did not do anything but make bed), easy parking near room to carry gear. NEGATIVES...pretty much poor to NO WI FI,... More

Fairly quiet and very nice beds; otherwise, I think it was overpriced for what it was. The walls were dirty and the wifi was spotty at best and very slow. Breakfast was your choice of bagels with no cream cheese and horrible coffee. The front desk personnel was surly and said they would give us a lower price for the... More

Stayed one night on way from Antonito (You must visit the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad!) to Albuquerque. Room was fine but no basin plug! I thought I was back in a 3rd world country... if your wife or girlfriend wants a hairdryer get one as you check in - unbelievably they don't have them in every room nor do they... More

DO NOT get the two queen rooms in the building that faces the parking lot (unless they have been remodeled at some point - ask to look at them first). But DO get the King rooms that face the courtyard. Nothing fancy - but clean and quaint - and pet friendly. Almost seems like two different hotels between the one... More

I read the reviews and decided to stop here. My husband and I looked at each other in the parking lot and I told him we should probably look elsewhere. He suggested we at least look at a room based on the reviews. I went to the front desk and asked to see a room. It was wonderful! The room... More

We loved our stay at the Indian Hills Inn. The staff was very helpful with all of our needs and we appreciated the nice lodging. The salt water pool was a bit chilly yet much more refreshing than chlorinated water. The green space/courtyard was nice to sit and relax enjoying the clear blue sky. J Wein More
