Beautifull part of South Africa, spacious rooms (units), quiet, friendly staff. If you want they'll cook you a 3 course dinner. Perfect base to go trout fishing or stop over to the Kruger National Parc. Other than trout fishing there is not much to do in the nearby surroundings.

Our travel agent booked this B&B on our way back from Kruger National to Johannesburg. Lodge is inspired by British cottages: both the beautiful rose garden and the decoration of the room. Old traditional guesthouse which was clean and neat but not 4 star. I wouldn't associate the accommodation with luxury more old style and cosy with a fireplace. I visited Highland Rose in Dullstroom for lunch on their beautiful garden facing stoep - delicious Boboti and home made lemonade. Warm and friendly hospitality and service with cosy accommodation - from honeymoon couples to families with children.
