Just back from 3 days in this new lodge in Chobe NP and not only is the lodge of top quality and taste, the friendlyness of the staff was heart warming and also the game was much more than expected: leopard, lion with cubs, hyenas, buffalo, elephant ... and all this for a very decent price ( always important )

Ghoha Savuti Lodge lies on the ledges of Ghoha Hills in Savuti Area of the Chobe National Park and has started operations on the 10th June 2012.Ghoha Hills Savuti en-suite accommodation is in 9 large guests and 2 family units. They are on raised wooden decks with canvas walls and PVC roofs. The main area which harbours the lounge, dining area, bar and curio is of canvas wall and thatched roofing. From the guest unit and the Main area guests are able to view a productive water hole located below at the edge of the hill. The Ghoha Hills Savuti lodge have a private road network on the eastern side of the hills. This area is abundant in species such as elephants, zebra, buffalos, lions, leopards, roan antelope, giraffe, spotted hyena, jackals and a variety of birdlife.The Lodge is situated approximately 20km from the Savuti Channel which has started flowing in 2008 and has become a deep clear water way which has attracted various aquatic lives, hippos, predators, water birds and some plains game.
