Elephant Valley Lodge's waterhole, which is overlooked by the dining area and verandah, and which has a hide from which to observe trhe wildlife, offered plenty of opportunity to view elephants from close up. We stayed for two nights and were really disappointed. It was more like driving into a zoo as into the chobe game reserve with the most frustrated and undedicated guide we ever experienced. Food also wasn´t really good. So: Too much money for an unsatisfied experience! More

We stayed two nights in June. Our tent was comfortable and well appointed with just the right amount of "rustic." Dining out doors was a treat and the meals were delicious although the dinner choices were a bit limited. If you have a narrow palate, you might check on the selections in advance.
