This motel used to be one of the best places of its kind. Every September for years, we stayed one night on the way up to the Adirondacks to camp, and again on the way home. We looked forward to it. Do not choose this motel based on the picturesque website - the place is terrible. I spent two nights there in November of 2005 and could not believe how much I paid for an uncomfortable stay. The motel, inside and out, was not clean. The room was filthy and the grounds were littered with junk. The heat in my room... More
