I've been going for 20 yes...and its shame that its changing. I'm latina..and think its ridiculous how the Latin music days at club volume and at " quiet times"..also the friggin young groups..I'm a nature lover..I camp to get with mother nature. I don't mind a good party..but where is the respect for fellow campers. I won't go holidays or... More

At first glance, I was quite happy with Barryville Base at Kittatinny Campgrounds. It looked nice enough, the location was nice, and the people who worked there were extremely friendly. We set up our site without a hitch and proceeded to have a nice afternoon. That fun continued into the early evening, as we enjoyed our time in and around... More

While the scenery of the creak and the river is nice, the camp grounds are plain terrible. They charge $40 a night (plus/minus for the location, water, etc.) sites have trash, creak has bottles floating, bathrooms are ran down with broken everything from light fixtures, counters, showers. You name it, its probably broken. Never seen anything this bad. They also... More

We stayed for four nights this past week. I found our sites to be awesome. We had about 10 ppl and all went tubing and it cost us about $500+ for Te stay and river trip. We really love tubing down the Deleware river. I do have to say that the bathrooms and showers are in terrible disrepair and most... More

This place is a disgrace. The grounds have old trash, the bathrooms are in disrepair, and absolutely no effort is made to quiet rowdy drunken campers after hours. All they have is location. They should be ashamed.

My family went to this campsite last weekend. The campground site itself was very nice. BUT the bathroom was the worst I have ever seen. It looks like they only clean once a day. I am sorry for all the campers that are there, once a day is not enough. by the morning only two of the ladies room stalls... More

Having camped all over the country, I found the Kittatinny Campgrounds to be the most culturally diverse and the most party-friendly campground that I have ever encountered. I'm sure for those people who want to party (loudly) with friends and family while camping, this place might be great. The majority of sites had at least 5-9 tents on them, and... More

The bathrooms are disgusting and old. The pool is dark and cloudy and falling apart. The website is nice and misleading. I wouldn't go here again. I paid $50/night for my family and expected to have the quality of a KOA. This was like staying at a roach motel with less amenities. Stay far away. There must be better places... More

Where to begin..... I went this past weekend (July 6, 7 & 8, 2012) with my girlfriend, my daughter and my son-in-law. We were appalled at the conditions under which people "camp". The place resembled what the Super Dome must have looked like after Katrina. Yes, a refugee camp is an accurate description. The sites are right on top of... More
