I stayed here on the way from Vermont to Pennsylvania. It was in some ways a step back in time but with modern amenities: air conditioning, fridge, TV, etc. Beautiful rural view out front and back. I am so glad to know that a place like this still exists and I whole heartedly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Americana.

Needed an excape from Hoboken to unwind. This place was perfect. Great owners. Marie was so helpful and eager to suggest local activities and dining options. Made friends with other guests easily. The rooms ar rustic and basic but very clean. There are no real amenities but that is not what this place purports to have. The rooms and cabins have comfortable beds, a tv, phone and bathroom. This was a nice change of pace from chain hotels. Very unique 1950's style motel. We enjoyed our stay for the night, but the water was "soft." Convenient to a nice Italian restaurant for dinner and little diner for breakfast. Just don't expect perfection, but a lot of character! Friendly owners.
