upon arriving..... the property and landscape was beautiful. I stayed in the guest house which is not attached to the main building but conveniently across the parking lot. Interior was clean and fresh and nicely decorated. The room upon entering smelled musty but was looked clean and pretty. Disappointments were: No coffee maker in the room! you can walk over... More

First off, this is not a modern inn - it is not supposed to be - thank you for staying true to the central NY charm of this historical building :) We stayed as a family and we lucky to have a room in the carriage house and not the main building, which was perfect for us - large spacious... More

My husband & I were looking for something close to home, but also some place we'd never been to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. After some thought and reading reviews on trip advisor, we decided on The Brewster Inn. What a wonderful weekend we had! The Inn itself was beautiful, the food was some of the best I'd ever had,... We had a private room for my family of 8 over the holidays and really enjoyed our evening at the Brewster Inn. It was such a cozy place with the decorations and the fireplace. We had a tour of the wine cellars and spoke with the sommelier at length about the wines and their selection. The service was great and... More

Went here with group of friends and our dinner was excellent. I ordered scallops and I would trade fhat dish for the scampi or rib orders others got. Mine was ok but those were outstanding. I just lived the old school charm and beauty. We hope to try it next summer for drinks and tavern meals on the lake for... More

I attended a meeting held at the Brewster and needed to stay overnight. The accomodations in the Carriage House were first rate, for a B&B. All the ammenities expected - including wifi. The main hose was updated as appropriate and readily matched the newer extension (dining room and bar). The dinner was extremely well done and the service was top... More
