Our room was beautiful, clean, and smelled very fresh and clean. While there, I observed staff mopping the stairwells, and even cleaning the elevators. During our first night there, we experienced the loud hockey families, but the hallways were quiet at a reasonable hour. My wife, I and our 2 kids checked in at the hotel for a weekend shopping excursion. Upon arriving we found the hotel to be very busy filled with what appeared to be many families attending some type of hockey tournament. This is when things went down hill. Extremely noisy through night. Desk agent unconcerned. Smokers congregate at front door to drink and smoke until 3a.m. When complained, was told they "can't control what people do outside the building", which is absurd, as they are still on property. Several hotels in this area that would likely be much better.
