Had a decent weekend stay. Rooms were clean. Wish the property itself was prettier...looked bland. Maybe it looks better when the trees bloom. Staff extremely friendly. More

My husband and I stopped through while visiting some family. We stayed here because it was minutes from their house. Very friendly environment. Wish we could have got a cheaper rate but I know business is business. More

We had 2 rooms and were billed for 3. I saw this when I got my credit card statement, and contacted both my credit card company, and the hotel. I eventually got through to some manager who said there was fraud on my account. He kept changing his story when I asked why there was no verification of guest identity.... More

It was warm out, and the Hallways were just as warm. Toilet would not flush, at all. Had to use our neighbors, thank god they were our friends! Was Not able to use the whirlpool tub cuz a knob was missing. No remote for tv. Coffee pot, but no coffee or cups or condiments for the Coffee Pot. Called front... More

This is not even a good, basic hotel. I had to rent 2 rooms since no double beds were available & the AC did not work in one of the rooms. The bathroom in one of the rooms smelled like dried pee and the vanity was filthy. The rooms were dirty: Hair everywhere, dust, and musty smelling. The rooms were... More

Don't even think of booking a room here. Part of the hotel appears to be used as a welfare hotel and part by prostitutes. Despite the fact that our group had reserved 10 rooms, most of the rooms were unavailable when we checked in at 4pm. Each time a member of our party tried to check in, the clerk told... More

My experience at this hotel was perfectly fine. My room was immaculately clean (a first floor smoking room), everything in the room worked as it should, and I found the whole hotel to be in relatively good shape. All rooms here have the classic Howard Johnson sliding glass doors (with working double locks and security bar) to private balconies which... More

I stayed here last week with my family for 6 nights. We were looking for a hotel from which we could both have days at the beach as well as day trips to New York City. The location is great - just along the 495 and very easy to get to. We went to the Fire Island beaches (about a... More
