My family and I have had 2 wonderful family reunions at Gavin's and are planning another one for 2013! They offer lots of activities; our kids loved the rock wall. Having a 7 year old granddaughter I like stay in the building right next to the swings.

Nice rooms in rows of attached cottages in a beautiful area of the Catskills Mountains. Wholesome, hearty food, plenty of it! The best, sweetest, most attentive and friendliest service. Weak or no wifi except in their office, but not the place to work anyway. Nothing fancy at all, just a quiet place to relax!

Spent several nights there this past summer with family and friends and was pleasantly surprised...People were nice, had a really good time and will be going back. I wrote the Ugh review 2 years ago and as I stayed there again and saw the improvement I felt obligated to review again.

Just returned from a weekend at Gavin's. It was my first but will not be my last, spending time with some friendly accommodating folks as the Gavins. Food was great and entertainment superb. Beautiful area to explore. Looking for a great place to relax, give them a try. Earlene Farrell Connecticut
