Sadly, the Bird & Bottle is closed. Little chance that it will reopen in that the current owners, a wonderful couple, bought the Inn at public auction several years ago and tended to the historic property without regard to cost. Everyone's loss.

I went to this place for a friend's wedding and I had a wonderful time. The place was charming and cozy. The food was totally amazing! The fillet mignon was one the best I've ever had. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to spend the night and dine there again.

My wife and I visited Boscobel and wanted to stay in a historic inn close by. The Bird and Bottle answered that call and much more. This inn is not only beautiful inside and a outside, it's location and food can't be beat! It's close to many great places in the Hudson Valley like Boscobel, the Garrison for golf, amazing hiking, and the lovely town of Cold Spring. The food was artfully prepared at a great price. I was very dissapointed with the noticable push to get us quickly served and pushed out. Order was taken within seconds and had first course within 5 minutes and main course within 15. Elaine and her staff bent over backwards to ensure that everything to do with my daughter's wedding went off exactly as planned. The rehearsal dinner in the cozy, historic dining room was excellent.
