The Herkimer Motel is very nice. The rooms are relatively large and modern. Each room has a tv, mini fridge, and desk. All rooms are air conditioned. The internet is decent quality and free. There is a modest continental breakfast, for free. Dennys is 100 feet away. The Thruway is 2 minutes drive away. All in all, a superior motel.

Clean and up to date rooms. Good (free) wireless service. Always great service. Even when we come back from the nearby Herkimer mines completely covered in dirt, we always come back to a clean room (thank you Heather)

This motel offers clean comfortable rooms, many with kitchen suites. Stayed one night in the "Family Room". It had 3 queen size beds that were very comfy. Room was clean, modern and had all the needed extras ( fridge, microwave, iron and board, blow dryer,extra sink, real clothes closet, modern and clean bathroom, carpet and tile floor). The room was comfortable and kept that way be a great crew of housekeepers and clerks. The Hotel is located near the New York State Thru-way and state routes 5 and 5s. There is a busy train track close by that didn't cause us any problems, but you can hear the trains especially during the day. There's a walking/bike path... More

The rooms have been upgraded far beyound Luxury Hotel staus// they are all nice and clean the staff is friendly and The food in the area was GREAT. We stayed here while visiting Howes Cavern and were pleasantly suprised. I was a little worried when I saw that the hotel was just off the interstate but road noise was not a problem at all.
