I had the occasion to be in Ithaca for business and stayed at the BW University Inn which is on the Cornell grounds. The people were very nice, the rooms clean and breakfast was tasty and fresh. I will be back!

The hotel is average but with a little more effort it could be much improved. Our room needed a good dusting: the phone had coffee stains on it and dirt caked into the keys. Dust fell from the lampshade and the bedding was lumpy. Also needed a good vacuuming and someone's comb had been left on the floor. Kinda yucky...However... More

Stayed over one night. In the morning I found out that the shower didn't work. Maintenance came to check and confirmed it didn't work. They quickly let me know of another room 10 doors away on the same floor where I could use a shower. The bill was adjusted accordingly without my having to ask. Everyone was very helpful overall.

The hotel itself is average. It is a little beat up here and there, but not shabby. My bed was comfortable and pillows were thinner and softer than typical hotel pillows.
