Amapondo is situated in walking distance to second beach in Port St.Johns. Overlooking the beach it is tranquility and fun all in one. A great team, good food, good music and always something to do, it's the perfect time for a chilled but active time in PSJ. GO There NOW.

We love to hear when our guests have such a great time with us. Thanks for a wonderful review. Did you swim in our amazing rock pool at Second Beach? Its deep enough to swim, when the tide is high, waves crash over turning it into a giant jacuzzi, and at low tide it becomes tranquil and calm. Thanks again... More

I am so happy to hear that you found Amapondo to be located in a beautiful location. It really is. I wake up every morning and stare out in amazement at the ocean and forest. Listening to the birds, watching the monkeys play, and really soaking up nature. Bululo Waterfall is one of our main attractions, with the path that... More

After hearing so much about this amazing backpackers, we were very dissapointed to arrive to a smelly room and run down facility. We were hoping to book one of their cottages, which unfortunately were full. What a sweet place - great service, YUMMY veg food and spectacular views. The facilities are clean, the atmosphere vibrant and the clientele super friendly. Port St. John's has some of the most spectacular scenery I've seen anywhere. Three days of hiking, canoeing and listening to the waves crash was just what the doctor ordered. We were a party of... I just visited Amapondo for the second time in 5 years with my fiance'. It was a great stay but there were a few issues we encountered.
