We stayed with family but didn't like it much. The place is too far away from Niagara Falls and the property is very old and not maintained well. “Lewiston?”

Staff were cheerful. Hotel was pleasant. Not much to do in Lewiston, unless you just want to eat! I almost sensed that after reading reviews. We did visit the American Falls. Should have just planned a day to buck the wait in crossing the border and view in Canada. Shopping? Stay in Canada, head for Niagara-on the -Lake.

This is our 4th 2 day stay at the Barton Spa. Always have had good experiences here, friendly staff and great food (try the angel-hair pasta) .
