The Irondequoit Inn is a 600 acre lakefront property in a sparsely populated area in the middle of the Adirondacks. It has a main lodge, an annex building with efficiencies, 5 cabins throughout the property and campsites near the lake. The lake is shallow for 100 yards or more, with soft sand, and in the summertime the water warms up... More

My husband and I stayed here one night during the week while hiking the Northville Placid trail. We stayed in the main house in one of the king rooms. Our stay was short but was a much welcome rest from our hiking. The inn keepers were very accommodating for our specific needs and were very friendly. We were able to... More

We visited here from Australia in July 2012. Being fans of New York City we were given the opportunity to experience the absolute natural beauty of Lake Piseco and the quaintness of the Inn. We travelled without a car from Penn Station and were picked up by Loren at Amsterdam and then driven back. In fact Pamela and Loren were... More

We (almost literally) stumbled upon the Irondequoit Inn while walking the Northville Placid Trail. Innkeepers Loren & Pamela went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel at home! An overnight stay turned into a two-night stay, and if we had more time we would have stayed longer. The grounds speak for themselves—beautiful. We enjoyed meeting with... More

Most travelers can be divided into one of two groups: those that enjoy rustic experiences and those who want to be pampered. If you fall into the later category do not go to the Irondequoit Inn. More than anything our weekend here reminded me of summer camp, which, in my case, was a good thing. The Inn, cottages and campsites... More

Had an amazing time at Irondequoit Inn last week. Went there with my fiancee and we both really enjoyed the wild and beautiful landscape as well as real, genuine people who live in their amazing honest and kind culture. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality Pamela and Loren!

The beauty of the Adirondacks is astounding, and the Irondequoit Inn is a great gateway for its exploration... and also for our general relaxation. I've been to the Inn twice in the past year and have stayed in both the lodge and in a cabin--both were very clean and cozy. I'm counting down the days to our third trip in... More

This is an inn we have visited and enjoyed a number of times. It is very old but quaint and comfortable in many ways. The room we book is fairly spacious and the beds are acceptable. 1) The price has gone up significantly to the point that it exceeds the value of the room. We were charged extra for maid... More

Like any seasoned establishments, the Irondequoit Inn has had it's ups and downs over the decades. Currently it is in the "up". The Innkeepers are very friendly and competent. They are always coming up with new things to introduce the guests to. The scenery is spectacular (perfect for artists and photographers alike). For those who enjoy hiking, there are trails... More

We spent a summer weekend at the Inn. Our room (#2) was great and so were the Innkeepers. We enjoyed breakfast, canoeing to the island, and exploring the area. They suggested an alternate route back to NYC and told us what to look out for (who knew there was a place called Stone Arabia?). This is a part of the... More
